AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, REGULATING
THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON CERTAIN STREETS AND
AVENUES IN THE CITY: PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR 5HE VIOLATION
THEREOF: ESTABLISHING BUS ZONES: AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.1202,
AND REPEALING ORDINANCES CONFLICTING THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON:
Ordinance No. 1202 of the City of Renton is hereby amended to
read as follows:
SECTION I. There shall be no parking of motor vehicles on Burnett
Street North tforrmerly Williams Street North) from Cedar River to the
North terminus of said Burnett Street North.
There shall be no parking of motor vehicles on that portion of
Logan Street North (formerly Williams Street North) extending from 8th
Avenue North to the northerly terminus of said Logan Street North.
SECTION 2. There is hereby established a bus zone for use of
school buses and transit buses, in which there shall be no parking of
other motor vehicles at any time, along the west bide of North Logan
Street, beginning at a -point which is 240 feet north of the intersection
of said North Logan Street with the center line of 4th Avenue North
extended west (being the north line of Section 18), and running from
said point a distance of 400 feet south; excluding, however, from said
bus xone that restricted space 30 feet long adjacent to existing fire
hydrant, in which restricted zone there shall be no parking of any motor
vehicles or buses.
SECTION 3. Between the hours of 8 A. M. and 6 P. M. daily, no
motor vehicles shall be parked continuously longer than two hours on
that portion of 8th Avenue North lying between Logan Street and Park
Avenue. There is hereby established on 8th Avenue North a bus zone on
both the north and south sides of said Avenue, from a point 454 feet
east of the west line of Section 8, Township 23 North, to a point 554
feet east of said section line, in which there shall be no parking of
motor vehicles at any time.

SECTION 4. There is hereby established a fire -lane in which
there shall be no parl�ing of motor vehicles at any time, as followsr
50 feet along the east margin of Mill Street from the south margin of
Second Avenue to a point 50 feet south therefrom,and 50 feet along
the north margin of Second Avenue measured from the west margin of
Mill Street to a point 50 feet west therefrom.
SECTION 5: Between the hours of 4 P. M. and 6 P. Me, there shall
be no parking of motor vehicles from the intersection of the center
line of First Avenue North and Park Avenue, a distance of 200 feet
northward measured along the center line of Park Avenue.
SECTION 6, Between the hours of 8 A. Me and 6 P. M on every
day except Sundays and holdiays, there shall be no parking of motor
vehicles for a longer continuous period than one hour.on the south
side of Second Avenue, between Mill Street and a point 50 feet east
from Mill Street; nor on Main Street from Bronson Way to Cedar River,
SECTION 7. There shall be no parking of motor vehicles for a
longer continuous period than one hour on Bronson Way from its inter-
section with Second Avenue to Cedar River,
SECTION Be Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordimnce shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and on
conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $25.00,
SECTION 9. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 10. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication,
passed by the City Council of
