ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and
assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 224 for the
improvement of portions of Airport Way, Lake Street and Tobin
Avenue by installation of water main under Ordinance No. 1280;
levying and assessing the amounts thereof against the several
lots, tracts, parcels of land and other property as shown on
said roll; establishing a local improvement fund; transferring
funds from current funds to said local improvement fund as a
loan and providifig--for repayment thereof.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The assessment and assessment roll of Local Improve-
ment District No. 224 for the improvement of Airport Waya-rd make
Street from Airport Way to Tobin Avenue and thence east on Tobin
Avenue 240' more or less to existing 41, water main, and certain parts
of certain other streets and avenues, all in the City of Renton, by
installation of Ott water main under Ordinance No. 1280, as the same
now stands, be, and the same is, hereby in all things approved and
confirmed.
Section 2. Each of the lots, tracts, parcels of land and other
property shown upon said roll is hereby declared to be specially
benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against
the same and the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion
to the several assessments appearing upon said roll. There is hereby
levied against each such lot, tract, parcel of land and other property
appearing upon such roll the amount finally charged against the same
thereon.
Section 3. For the purpose of this improvement there is hereby
created and established a special fund to be called "Local Improvement
Fund, District No. 224,1' in which shall be deposited the sums collected
under aforesaid assessments.
Section 4. There is hereby appropriated and transferred from
the current expense fund in the City Treasury the sum of 3, 9 z I• � 3 '�
as a loan to aforesaid Local Improvement Fund, District No. 224, for
the purpose of making immediate payment of the costs of said improve-
ments, which loan shall bear interest at 3 per cent per annum and

shall be repaid from said Local -Improvement Fund to the said current
expense fund, with interest, as and when funds become available from
aforesaid assessments or otherwise for such repayment.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five
days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
