AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN TRACTS IN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL USE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1164 and the maps adopted in conjunction,)
therewith as amended, the tract hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned as residential use district; and
VEEREAS under the provisions of Section XII of aforesaid Ordinance
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said tract to
commercial use has been filed with the Clerk of the City of Renton and
the Planning Commission of said City having recommended such change of
classification and public hearing having been held on said petition by
the City Council on September 7, 1948, pursuant to notice regularly pub-
lished and no protests having been made or filed, NOVd, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The following described tract in the City of Renton
is hereby rezoned and reclassified as a commercial use district, and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to change the maps oft he zoning or-
dinance of the City to show this change, said tract being described as
follows:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of Section 17,
Township 23 North, Range 5 East of W. M.,bounded on
the Northwest by Bronson Way North,(County Road No.
174) bounded on the Northeast by Mt. Olivet Way (South-
east) 132nd Street) and bounded on the south by the
Snoqualmie Falls Power Company right of way, except por-
tion lying east of a line running due south from inter-
section of southerly line of Mt. Olivet Way and south
line of Bronson Way (County Road No. 174).
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five
days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
