HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1278ORDINANCE N0. 1278 AN ORDINANCE OF TIM CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF LOT'TEN, BLOCK FIVE, SMITHR'S SIXTH ADDITION TO RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON, FROM RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO COMMERCIAL USE DISTRICT: ALSO CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF LOTS, THREE, FOUR AND THE WEST ONE-HALF OF LOT FIVE, BLOCK FIVE, RENTON REAL ESTATE COMPANY'S FIRST ADDITION TO RENTON9 KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON, FROM RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO COMMERCIAL USE DISTRICT. WHEREAS, Under Ordinance No. 1164, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the above described property was zoned as residential, and WHEREAS, Under the provisions of Section XV, proper petition for change of zone classification to commercial was filed; the Planning Commission having concurred in such change and public hearing having been held and no protests having been filed, now therefore, The City Council of the City of Renton, Washington, do ordain as follows: SECTION 1: That Lot -Ten, Block Five, Smither's 6th Additon to Renton, King County, Washington, and Lots Three, Four and the West one-half of Lot Five, Block Five, Renton Real Estate Company's First Addition to Renton, King County, Washington, be classified as Commercial Use, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to show.this change. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days from and after its legal publication, passage and approval. Approved this 3rd day of June, 1947.
