VETO.
TO THE MEMBERS OF THE RENTON CITY COUNCIL.
Renton, Washington
Gentlemen:
I am returning Ordinance # 1.275 , which I have vetoed
for the following reasons:
Considerable protest has been registered with me by
individual citizens against increasing the number of licensed
taverns within the City limits, and I personally do not be-
lieve that the present circumstances and conditions in the
City warrant increasing the number of licensed taverns.
