installing a sewer for a distance of appro�imately 550 Peet
west oP Shattuck Street
and that such other work be done as may be necessary in conuectiou therewith, according to the plaus aud
specifications therefor prepared under the directioil of the City Engineer and on file iu the office of the City
Clerk.
Section 2: That the cost and expense o£ said iinprovement, including all necessaiy and incidental
eYpeuses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessinent district hereiu-
�tifter created iii accordance with law. The City of Itenton shall not be liable in any manner for �aiiy por-
tion of the cost and exPense of said iinprovement, eYcept a-s herein provided.

Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improven:ent district to be called "Local Iiii-
provement District No.__1,&�J-----," which said district is described as follo«-s:
`All the property between the termini of said iinproveinent abutting upon, adjacent, vacinal or
prosimate to such portion of said streets and avenues to a distance back fro�xi the margii�al lines thereof, as
provided by law."
Section 4: Bonds bearing interest at the rate of_.__Sj.S... per cent. per annum payable ou or before
__$��ej1___.._.years froin the date of issuance shall be issued in payment of the cost and expense of this
improvement, which bonds shall be redeeined by the collection of special assessuieuts to be levied and
assessed upon the property within said district, payable in__f'j..VB_.__equal annual installinents with interest at
t?ie rate of___.___��a___per cent. per annum under the mode of "Paymeut Uy E�onds," as defined by law and
the charter and ordinances of the City of Renton. These bonds shall be delivered to the contractor in
redemption of �varrants on the Local Improvement District Fund isst�ted on estimates of the City Engineer,
or the City of Renton m�y, at its election, sell said bonds and make such redeinptiou in casIi.
Section 5: This ordinance shall be iii full force and effect five (5) days froin and after its passage..
