specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the City �ngineer and ou file iu tlie ofi'ice of the City
Clerk.
Section 2: That the cost and expense of said impi•oveinent, including all necessary and incidentai
e.xpenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property iucluded in the assessinent district hereiu-
<tifter created in accordance with law. The City of Renton shall not be liable ii; any manner for �any por-
tion of the cost a,nd expense of said improveinent, except a.s lierein provided.

Section 3: Tha,t there is hereby �established a local improve�nent district to be called "Local Inr '�
provement District No.___1�3---," which said district is described as follo���s:
`All the property between fhe termini of said improvement abutting upon, adjacent, vacinal or !
proximate to such portion of said streets and avenues to a disiance bacli from the marginal lines thereof, as
provided by law." ,
Section 4: Bonds bearing interest �t the rate of_�_�Z__.._ per cent. per annum pa;�able ou or before
agy$ji_____..._years from the date of issuance shall be issued in payment of the cost and expense of this
improveuient, which bonds shall be redeeined by the coilection of special assessments to be levied aud
assessed upon the property �i�ithin said district, payable in....��4@.__equal annual installments with interest at
the rate of__�i$.._.._..�er ceut. per annum under the mode of "Payrnent by Eionds," as defined by law and
the charter and ordinances of the City of Renton. These bonds shall be deli��ered to the contractor in
redemption of �wa.rrants on the Local Improvement District Fund issned on estimates of the City Engineer,
� or the City of Renton may, aC its election, sell said bonds and inake such redeinption in cash.
Section 5: This ordiiiance shali be in full force and effect rive (5) daYs frain and after its passage,
