CALL TO ORDER:
The December meeting was called to order at 7:50 a.m. by J. Phelan.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A motion was made by K. Parker, seconded by K. Hanson and carried to approve the minutes of
the October 27, 2009, Regular Meeting. The motion carried.

CORRESPONDENCE:
Councilmember King Parker has been reappointed to the City of Renton's LEOFF Board for a
term that expires December 31, 2011.
An application was received from employee 1954 for LEOFF 1 disability effective December 12,
2009. He is expected to return to work without restrictions approximately May 20, 2010. A
motion was made by K. Hanson and seconded by K. Parker to approve the disability leave. The
motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
None
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Ballots were received and tabulated for the election of the Firefighter representative of the
LEOFF Disability Board. Jim Matthews was elected for a two-year term ending December 31,
2011.

Board Members reviewed the claims processed under the Secretary's authority during
November and December 2009.
COMMENTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The meeting schedule for 2009: January 25, February 23, March 23, April 27, May 25,June 22,
July 27, August 24, September 28, October 26, November 24, December 15.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, G. Taylor moved and K. Parker seconded to adjourn the
meeting at 8:35.
