THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOVPS: ��
Section 1. Whereas a W. P. A. pro�ect has been requested by
the city of Renton Por the improvement of certain streets and �

! alleys within the eitq of Renton and it is necessaxy that the

p city, as sponsor of said pro,jeet, bear certain of' the ezpenses
ineidental thereto; and

Whereas it has been estiffiated that the city� s share o� � .
said expenses will be twenty-three hundred and no/100 (�2300.00) �
dol].ars.
3e�tion 2. That there be and there hereby is appropriated,
in addition to the amount of the budget tor the year Z938, the sum
of �2300.00 out of the general fund for the purpose oP pay3ng the
city' s share as sponsor of the W. P. A. pro,�eet, for the improve-
ment, by grading and gravelin�; oP eertain streets and alleys in
the city oY Renton, �ashington.
3ection 3. The eity council oY the clty of Renton does hereby
declare that they have found an emergeney to exist.
Se�tion 4. This ordinance shall not be passed until one week
after its introduet3on and it shall require the unanimous vote o2
the councilmen present and the approval oP the mayor.
section 5. This ordinance shall become effective five days
