This fence qualifies for administrative review under Renton Municipal Code 4-4-0040 G 1 a; Fences exceeding forty eight inches (48") within front yard or side yards along a street setback but not within a clear vision area. We also meet the evaluation objectives listed in the Renton MuniCipal Code for Special Administrative Fence Permits 4-4-040 G 2. • The fence improves the privacy and security of the adjoining yard space. • The fence does not detract from the quality of the residential environment. • The proposed fence compliments the environment it serves in an aesthetically pleasing manner. • The proposed fence does not present a hazard to vehicular or pedestrian traffic. The fence located on this property already complies with the criteria to allow the fence to stand at a maximum 72" in height abutting a city street in that; this fence is constructed of quality fence material (cedar).
