We are submitting the enclosed application and supporting materials to request a
Special Fence Permit for address below. Based on the regulations governing
fence height, we would like to request that the fence remain on our property line
abutting the southern sidewalk. The fence would be lowered to 48 inches in
height with a 24 inch lattice top extension on the south side and on the west
portion of the fence adjoining the south side to the house. The fence would be
full panel constructed of cedar boards and stained in a clear natural color to
preserve the wood. The pillars would be pre-treated cedar. The south side will
be maintained to remove vegetation and bark will be placed between the fence
and the sidewalk. Construction would be similar to the fence on the property
across the street to the west. The fence would be set back approximately 18'
from the clear vision area.
