Debbie Little said she and Shawn talked about the issue and indicated there is a card table in the corner which is used as extra storage. Sandy Polley said it would a lot cleaner with a shelf. Debbie said Shawn will report on this issue at the next meeting. Terry Higashiyama, Community Services Administrator • Terry handed out a sheet on, "Senior Center Communication Path". Before finalizing and adopting have we missed anything and do we need to add anything to a list of goals for 2014. We are waiting on committees to report back on several things...the Float and Marketing. Do you want to do a Float again and if so here are some things we will change. When adopting your goals we now know what to change. So when we set the goals we need your reports back on major things and what was learned and add to 2014 goals. Have we finished any reports on the Float, Fundraising, or on Marketing? Bill Clapp said the Fundraising Committee did a report back on revitalizing a salad bar and asked if Ben received it. Ben said, ' yes. Terry said if you fill everything is covered,we can make a motion to adopt it and then this is added to your packet and new member will receive it; Board Members together, once a year, review goals;this is not to e forgotten, but used as a tool. Terry called one more time for action before asking for a motion to adopt. Milt moved to adopt the Senior Center Communication Path as is. It was second by Sandy Polley. Motion carried. Terry said we have a surplus process. Peggy Budziu asked if Shawn has asked Cher why those working in Nutrition don't sign-in. Mary B. Brown invited the Advisory Board to have a meeting at Merrill Gardens. Sandy Polley–kudos on the Meadow Crest Playground brochure;well done. Talking about places around having roots growing and different walkway—when you come out of the coffee bar and walk towards Burnett there is a walkway people have made;there are roots and whatever, it would probably be a nice place for a small sidewalk and safer then tripping. Marjorie Cochran–As I'm looking at this Meadow Crest Playground Master Plan, it reminded me of a letter the Parks Department received when Governor Dixie was in office. After touring the State she said, "the City of Renton had one of the finest park departments in the State and wished the State parks were as well groomed as the City of Renton." As I look at the Plan it confirms how wonclerful the City takes care and provides all the parks they do for the people of Renton. President Ben Cheney adjourned the meeting at 11:00 AM. Y"'G,'. '.,.Q ''C,z: - , Marjorie Cochra -Reep,Secretary Pro tem Ben Chene President Y,
