FINDING OF FACT AND ORDER
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 21, Title IV, Code of General Ordinances,
entitled Dangerous Building Code, and the complaint of the Building Director
dated SEPTEMBER 17 , 1970 fixing the date, time and place of a hearing to
hear testimony of the Building Director and all parties in interest, said hear-
7r ing was held in the Council Chambers, Renton Municipal Building, Renton,:" - Wash-
ington, beginning at 10 o'clock A.M. , OCTOBER 6 , 1970 .

AFTER HEARING EVIDENCE FROM THE ABOVE PARTIES PRESENT THE BOARD CONTINUED
THE HEARING TO 10 O'CLOCK A.M. , DECEMBER 8, 1970. THE BOARD MEETING OF
DECEMBER 8, 1970 WAS ADJOURNED FOR LACK OF A QUORUM. NO PARTIES OF INTER-
EST WERE IN ATTENDANCE. AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD BEGINNING AT
GI 10 O'CLOCK A.M. , DECEMBER 15, 1970, THE BOARD REOPENED THE HEARING.

AVENUE S.W. , SEATTLE, WASHINGTON 98116, DATED NOVEMBER 29, 1970 AND
DECEMBER 6, 1970.
After hearing evidence from the above parties present and reviewing the corres-
pondence, the Board finds:
1. THAT THE COMPLAINT OF THE BUILDING DIRECTOR IS JUSTIFIED.
2. THAT THE SUBJECT STRUCTURE IS A "DANGEROUS BUILDING" AS DEFINED IN
SECTION 4-2102 OF THE DANGEROUS BUILDING CODE AND IS THEREFORE A
PUBLIC NUISANCE.
3. THAT IT IS NOT REASONABLE TO REPAIR OR REMODEL THIS BUILDING WITHIN
THE STANDARDS ESTABLISHED IN SECTION 4-2103 OF THE DANGEROUS BUILDING
CODE.
THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS HEREBY ORDERS:
1. THE OWNER TO DEMOLISH THIS BUILDING AND THAT A REASONABLE TIME IN
WHICH TO ACCOMPLISH THIS DEMOLITION, INCLUDING CAPPING OF SEWER
LINE AND FINAL CLEAN-UP OF THE PREMISES, IS SIXTY (60) DAYS.
Parties affected by this Finding of Fact and Order have the right of appeal to
the Building Appeals Commission at the office of the Building Director within
thirty (30) days of the date of service of this decision or order.
