Whereas the Cedar Ridge Residential Park AssociatLLi.ori.,,,c, :. -
Inc01) . , is required, pursuant to conditions imposed by
City of Renton and by Paragraph 9 .27* of the Amendment to
Declaration for Cedar Ridge Residential Park dated
March 8, 1984 and recorded under King County Recording
ctr r No. . 8404090613 ; and
Whereas both parties intend that the responsibility of

operating and maintaining said private roadway shall be that
of the Association;
Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual benefits
derived herefrom, the undersigned parties agree as follows:
1 . The Cedar Ridge Residential Park Association,
Inc. , shall, during the term of the franchise granted pursuant
to Renton Ordinance No. 3554, indemnify and hold harmless
the City of Renton from any and all liability of whatever
kind or nature arising from or in connection with the construction,
maintenance, usage or day to day operation of said private
roadway, including any injury to persons or property, except
where such liability or injury arises as the sole and proximate
result of the negligence of the City of Renton or of its
agents or employees. *(See Paragraph 7 referring to Para. 9.27)
