CB#3 and EX. MH#1, Oceanside Construction, Inc. ran into a conflict with what appears to be a concrete duct bank above the existing gas. There was concern that the concrete duct was encasing an existing utility. Prior to removing the concrete duct bank a utility locate was required. PSE came out to the site on July 29th, 2019 and verified that they did not have any active utilities within the concrete. On July 30th, 2019 a utility locate was performed. No utility claimed that any active service was contained within the concrete. At this time,the City of Renton is directing Oceanside Construction, Inc.to move forward with removing the concrete in conflict with the proposed storm as necessary. If an active utility is impacted please contact the inspector for further instruction.
