Re: Letter of Intent between City of Renton and Renton Housing Authority dated lanuary 23,
2017
This Addendum A hereby amends that certain letter of intent between the City of Renton
("Seller") and Renton Housing Authority ("Buyer"), dated January 23, 2017 ("January 23, 2017
Letter of Intent"), involving the sale and purchase of a piece of property generally known as the
"Renton Highlands Library" parcel (the "Property"), located at 2902 NE 12th Street, Renton,
Washington, more particularly described in the January 23, 2017 Letter of Intent.
WHEREAS the January 23, 2017 Letter of Intent stated that the transaction described above
shall be completed by the latter of April 30, 2017, or sixty days after the City Council's surplus
property declaration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council declared the Property surptus on June 19, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the parties agree that it is necessary to extend the date in which the sale and
purchase of the Property is completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, Buyer and Seller agree as follows:
1. The sale and purchase of the Property shall be completed no later than October 31,
2017; and
2. All other terms and conditions of the January 23, 2017 Letter of Intent remain in full
force and effect.
