Fber Optic Cable Installation Scope
Task 1- I nstall ow ner provided 144 cou nt fiber o ptic cable in exist ing cond uit fro or the TA-25 at 3 rd & Monterey (S. W. Corner of intersection, in grass, at entry nce to M onterey Terrace apa rime nt comp lex)
to the ex isting TA-25, next to the Rento n Technical Co liege. (Slack Detail -100 feet of slack will be insta lied at a bove mentioned TA-25's... in add ition, 175 feet of express slack will be installed in the 25-TA's
adjacent to traffic signal controllers "Signalized intersections" and 50 feet of slack in any other TA-2 5's)
Task 2 - Provide & Install 12 count fiber cable from the generator house to the pump house (leaving 30 feet of slack at each end for terminations)
Task 3" - Provide & Install 12 cou nt fiber cab le from the TA-25 at 3 rd & M onterey to the generator bu ild ing, leaving 100 foot slack in TA-25, for splicing and 30 foot slack in generator b uild ing, for terminations.

Fber Splicing /Termination Scope
Location 1: Pump House
Provide & Install 1x 1RU Corning CCH Panel
Terminate 1 x 12 strand with LC/UPC Single -mode fiber connectors
Location 2: Generator House
Provide & Install 1x 1RU Corning CCH Panel
Terminate 2 x 12 strand with LC/UPC Single -mode fiber connectors
Location 3 -Transportation Change Order: TA-25 / NE 3rd & Monterey
Provide & Install 1x Fiber Splice Closure
Install 3 x cables into new splice closure (12 -12 -144)
Fusion Splice to Cities direction (total 18 fusion splices)
(12 strand to signal controller and 12 strand to generator building, provided & installed by City transportation dept.)
Location 4 -Transportation Change Order: TA-25 / NE 3rd & Ed monds
Provide & Install 1x Fiber Splice Closure
Mid -sheath 144 fiber cable and install (City Transportation dept. provided) signal controller fiber cable, into new splice closure.
Fusion Splice to Cities direction (total 12 fusion splices)
Location 5 -Transportation Change Order: TA-25 / NE 3rd & Jefferson
Provide & Install 1x Fiber Splice Closure
Mid -sheath 144 fiber cable and install (City Transportation dept. provided) signal controller fiber cable, into new splice closure.
Fusion Splice to Cities direction (total 12 fusion splices)
Location 6"": TA-25 / NE 4th & Renton Tec College
Install 1 x cable into Existing (Coyote PIT) splice closure (new 144 count)
Provide & Install 1x new PLP endplate
Fusion Splice to existing fiber, per Cities direction (total ""36 fusion splices- 18, in each existing closure)
»» Per Ron Hansen- Prep new 144 into existing PLP Coyote splice closure, that hasjumper cable installed to another PLP Coyote closure, with the City'stie in cables(Endplate isfull).
