UTILIZING PENTA-HEAD LOCKING BOLTS AND SPRING NUTS IN ORDER TO BOLT TO THE VAULT FRAME AND COVER FOR LOCKING PURPOSES.
SEE SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS ON DWG NO. E08 FOR MORE INFORMATION.
9. ALL PROPOSED CONDUIT TERMINATIONS IN VAULTS SHALL HAVE BELL END CONNECTORS FOR PROTECTION OF CONDUCTORS. ALL EXISTING
CONDUIT TERMINATIONS IN VAULTS SHALL HAVE BELL END CONNECTORS INSTALLED AT THE VAULT TERMINATION.
10. ALL PROPOSED AND EXISTING VAULTS AND LIDS SHALL BE GROUNDED PER N.E.C. SEE GROUNDING DETAIL ON DWG NO. E08.
11. ALL VAULT LIDS SHALL BE PERMANENTLY MARKED FOR THEIR INTENDED USE, "SIGNAL" FOR ALL SIGNAL AND INSTRUMENTATION VAULTS
AND "ELECTRICAL" FOR ALL POWER VAULTS. PERMANENT MARKING LETTERING SHALL BE 3" MINIMUM. USE RAISED WELD BEAD.
12. PROPOSED UTILITIES SHALL MAINTAIN A MINIMUM SEPARATION OF 4 FEET AWAY FROM THE RESERVOIR FOUNDATION.
