THIS INDENTURE made and entered into by and between PU'. T SOUND
POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, a Massachusetts oerporation, herein called "Grantor"
and the City of Renton, a municipal corporation located in the County of
King, State of Washington, herein called "Grantee",
WITNESSET H:

11 to it in hand paid, the Grantor hereby grants to the Grantee, its succes-
sors and assigns, subject to the conditions and reservations hereinafter
't; stated, the perpetual right, privilege and authority to construct,re-
construct, maintain, repair and operate a ten-inch sanitary sewer line, ,
' with necessary manholes, over and along the following described land
located in N-1/2 of NW-1/4 of Section 20, Township 23 North, Range 5
East, 'W.M., King County, State of Washington, to-wit:
Beginning at a point 14 feet West of the Southwest Corner
of Tract #4, Highlands Addition to Renton, ging County,
Washington, running thence South 15 feet, thanes Bast 304
feet to the West line of Renton Avenue. Also, beginning
at a point 15 feet South and 21.9 Leet West of the South
East corner of Tract 5, Highlands Addition to Renton, King
County, Washington, running thence South Easter to the
West Marginal Line of Renton Avenue at a point 51.5 feet
South of the Southeast corner of said Tract #5.
Said sanitary sewer line shall be laid wholly underground to a
depth of not less than three feet and shall be used solely as a part of
the sanitary sewer system of the Grantee.
The Grantor reserves to itself, its successors and assigns the
right to use the land herein described for its and their own purposes in
any way whatsoever which shall not be inconsistent with the rights hereby
granted to the Grantee.
Grantee farther agrees to save and hold harmless the said
Grantor, its successors and assigns,trom all lass or damage which it or

they may suffer on account of anything done or omitted by the Grantee
in the exercise of the rights hereby granted.
This grant is made without warranty of any kind whatsoever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Grantor has caused this instrument to
be executed by its proper officers thereunto duly authorized and its

purposes therein mentioned, and on oath stated that they were authorized

corporate seal of said corporation.
