Submitted herewith is a corrected description of easement across City
property on Bronson Way North at the new steel water tank site as requested by Pacific
Telephone and Telegraph Company.
The two easements are now in order and may be executed.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
For and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, the CITY OF RENTON, a Municipal Corporation of the State of
Washington, hereby grants an easement unto THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COM-
PANY, a California Corporation with-the right, privilege and authority to construct,
reconstruct, operate, inspect, maintain or remove lines of telephone and telegraph,
or other signal or communication circuits, consisting of such underground conduits,
cables, manholes and other markers, fixtures and appurtenances as the grantee may
from time to time require, upon, across, over and/or under the following described ,
property situated in the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the northwest
quarter of the northeast quarter (NW4 of NE4) of Section 17,
Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W. M., South 12° 30' east a
distance of 310.11 feet; thence south 39 45' west a distance
of 231.70 feet; thenc8 south 30° 20t west a distance of 518.43
feet; thence south 45 021 west a distance of 10 feet more or
less to the True Point of Beginning, said point being on the
south edge of Bronson Way North, as Bronson Way exists in the
field, and also being on the north margin of a tract of land
described as follows:
The north 250 feet of the south 425 feet of the
northwest quarter of the northeast quarter (NW4of NE4) of
Section 17, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W. M., lying
east of Bronson Way North, less the east 100 feet thereof.
Thence commencing at the True Poing of Beginning,
of a strip of land being 5 feet on each side of the following
described center line; south 45° 02t west 72.32 feet; thence -
south 29° 10' west 164 feet more or less, to a point of inter-
section with the north margin of the right of way of Bronson Way.
North, and the point of termination.
Grantee shall at all times, while this easement is in full force and
effect, have the right of reasonable ingress to and egress from said property for the
aforementioned purposes, and further grantee shall be responsible unto the City for
all damages or injuries incurred by it and arising, out of the exercise of the
grantee's rights and privileges herein granted' and to hold the City harmless from
any liability in connection therewith.

Members of the City Council
Gentlemen:
Submitted herewith are easement applications from
Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for underground con-
struction across City property. The first is across the north-
erly end of Cedar River Park on the right of way of the limited
access highway. The second is across the steel water tank site
on Bronson Way North, immediately west of the tank.
The requested easements are along the route of a major
underground installation which starts on Bronson Way at 2nd Av-
enue and proceeds along Bronson Way and Bronson Way North to E
Street; thence north on E Street to the City limits.
I see no objection to the easements, however I recom-
ment they be referred to Council Committees for consideration.
