The Committee further recommends that an ordinance be prepared, and presented for first reading when complete, amending Title IV, Development Regulations, of the Renton Municipal Code to reflect the intent and will of the City Council, as expressed in the Resolution, prohibiting the siting of supervised injection facilities within the City of Renton. The cost of the additional 1.0 FTE will be split one-third each between the Water Maintenance, Wastewater Maintenance, and Surface Water Maintenance sections, which have sufficient funding in the 2017 and 2018 budgets to absorb the increase in salary.
