AN ORDINANCE. OF. THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
VACATING PORTION OF 150th PLACE , 83rd AVENUE
SOUTH, CERTAIN ALLEYS, ALL IN C. D. HILLMAN' S
`D EARLINGTON GARDENS, DIVISION NO. 1, SITUATED IN
RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
a)
nWHEREAS a proper petition for vacating of certain streets
and alleys as hereinafter more particularly described was duly. filed
with the City Clerk on or about November 21, 1968 , and said Petition
having been signed by the owners of more than two=thirds of the
property abutting upon such streets and alleys sought to be vacated,
and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 1590 approved
and passed on December 9 , 1968 , and after due investigation did fix
and determine the 13th day of January, 1969 , at the hour of 8 : 00 P.M.
in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and
place for public hearing thereon, and directed the Clerk to give notice
of such hearing in the manner provided by law, and such notice having
been duly given and published, a,nd after such public hearing, the
City Council did fix and determine a renewed hearing on said Petition,
which such additional hearing was duly held on the 7th day of April,
1969 , and notice thereof was dlJ.y given and published as required
by law, and all persons having been heard appearing in favor of or
in opposition thereto, at both of such hearings ; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission having duly considered said
Petition and said vacation as hereinafter more particularly described
being found to be in the public interest and for the public benefit ,
and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result
therefrom; and
WHEREAS the City Council caused to have made an appraisal
of the properties sought to be vacated as provided for in City of
Renton Ordinance No. 2349; NOW TIIEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY TUE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:

1 . All of 150th Place running in an easterly and westerly direction between
80th Avenue South and 84th Avenue South: less the northerly 30 feet thereof

South and 83rd Avenue South between the property abutting 150th Place and
P.S. Highway No. 1-RE; also described as the alley ,abutting Lots 1 through
26, Block 38 in C. D. Hillman's Earlington Gardens, Division No, 1 , Renton,
Washington.
5. The alley running in an easterly and•westerly direction between 83rd Avenue
South and P.S. Highway No. 1-RE ,between the property abutting,150th Place
and.P.S. Highway No. 1-RE; also. described as the alley abutting Lots 1
through 16 and 46 through 56, Block 40 in C. D. Hillman's Earlington Gardens,
Division No. 1 , Renton, Washington.

Avenue South and 80th Avenue South, 450 feet plus or minus, of the alley
running westerly from 83rd Avenue South, between part of the property abutting

abutting Lots 1 through 15 and 42 through 56, Block 41 , in C. D. Hillman's
Earlington Gardens, Div. No. 1 , Renton, Washington.
