AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING
A CEIMIN 30 FOOT RIGHT OF WAY ADJOINING TRACT 289, C. D.
HILLMAN'S LAKE WASHINGTON GARDEN OF EDEN DIV. NO. 4
`k WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a certain portion of roadway as herein-.
after more particularly described was duly filed with the City Clerk on or about

June 2, 1967, and said petition having been signed by the owners of more than 2/3 of .
Othe property abutting upon such portion of roadway sought to be vacated, and .
WHEREAS the City by Resolution No. 1459, passed and approved on June 19, 1967,
and after due investigation did fix and determine the 17th day of July, 1967, at the
hour of 8:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton, to be the time
and place for public hearing thereon; and directed the Clerk to give notice of said
hearing in the manner provided by law:, and such notice having been duly given and ci.r
published and all persons having been heard appearing in favor of or in opposition
thereto; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission having duly considered said petition, and
said vacation as hereipafter more particularly described being found to be in the
public interest aria for the public benefit and no injury or damage to any person or
properties will result therefrom, NCW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITISOF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described portion of roadway, to-wit:
A 30-foot wide road right of way lying southwesterly of and .\.
adjacent to the southwesterly property line of the south 289.27
feet of Tract 289 of C. D. Hillman's Lake Washington Garden of
Eden., Division #4, as measured along the east line of said tract;
said road vacation to begin on the east margin of 108th Avenue
S. E. produced south from the northwest corner of the above
described property to the northeasterly line of the Pacific Coast
Railway Company's right of way; thence said vacation extends south-
easterly to its terminus at the north line of S. E. 112th Street
produced west to said Pacific Coast Railway Company's right of way,
all situated in Renton, King County, Washington
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication, as provided by law. A Certified Copy of
this ordinance shall be filed with the King County Auditor's office.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 24th day of July, 1967.,
