By this agreement Grantor accepts responsibility for any and all claims, actions,causes of action,suits,damages, losses,costs or expenses,which arise out of or in connection with the License between US WEST Communications,Inc. and the City of Renton attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference,except to the extent the same is attributable to the gross negligence or willful misconduct of US WEST, its employees,or agents. This hold harmless agreement is designed to relieve the City of Renton of any and all legal and financial responsibility. Grantors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Renton and all of its employees,officers,and attorneys from any claims of damage or problems of any kind or nature caused by the existence or use of a temporary alley on the above described real property. In the event any claim is made against the City of Renton or any action is commenced by any party naming the City of Renton as a defendant due to or related to the existence or use of the above described real property,Grantors agree to defend that claim or action at their own expense and/or pay all legal fees and costs incurred by the City of Renton in the defense of that claim or action,including all expenses and attorney's fees incurred at arbitration,trial or on appeal.
