HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
Purchaser understands that he is obtaining a trained police canine. This canine is
trained to protect, guard, and attack. Purchaser understands that "Boss" is not the
typical house pet. Based on his training as a Police K9 officer, Purchaser believes he is
capable of handling and maintaining Boss in a manner which is safe for the K9 as well as
the public.
The purchaser agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the City and its agents from any
and all claims which may arise out of the ownership or any actions by the subject
canine. Purchaser understands he has the right to seek independent counsel before
entering into this contract.
In consideration of the Hold Harmless Agreement and the payment of One Dollar
($1.00), the City of Renton sells the subject canine to Purchaser. Purchaser hereby
acknowledges that as adequate consideration.
