TEMPORARY EROSION/SEDMENT
SEQUENCE OF CONSTRUCTION
THE TYPICAL CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:
1. CONDUCT PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING.
CONTROL (TESC) GENERAL NOTES
2. POST SIGN WITH NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF TESC SUPERVISOR.
3. UPDATE TESC PLAN.
4. PREPARE STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN & UPDATE AS REQUIRED.
5. SUBMIT NOTICE OF INTENT TO WA STATE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY.
6. INSTALL CATCH BASIN INLET PROTECTION.
7. INSTALL PERIMETER PROTECTION (HIGH VISIBILITY FENCE, ETC.).
8. INSTALL PROTECTION AROUND ALL ITEMS TO REMAIN.
9. INSTALL TEMPORARY STORAGE TANKS, SEDIMENT POND(S), FILTRATION SYSTEM(S), ETC. AS
REQUIRED PRIOR TO GROUND DISTURBANCE.
10. CLEAR AND GRUB THE SITE.
11. MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL MEASURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANS AND MANUFACTURER'S
RECOMMENDATIONS.
12. PERFORM GRADING EARTHWORK.
13. INSTALL BUILDING AND UTILITIES.
14. PLACE HARDSCAPE.
15. RESTORE ROADWAY AND SIDEWALKS.
16. INSTALL IRRIGATION SYSTEM.
17. INSTALL PLANTS AND SITE FURNISHINGS.
18. RELOCATE EROSION CONTROL MEASURES OR INSTALL NEW MEASURES SO THAT AS SITE
CONDITIONS CHANGE, THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL IS ALWAYS IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE CITY TESC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
19. STABILIZE ALL AREAS THAT REACH FINAL GRADE WITHIN 7 DAYS.
20. SEED ANY AREAS TO REMAIN UNWORKED FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS.
21. UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT, ALL DISTURBED AREAS MUST BE STABILIZED AND
BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES BE APPLIED TO REMOVAL OF CONTROLS IF APPROPRIATE.
