We are also hooding you herewith the City's *Option to Purchase Real Property's Which Option must be exercised on or before May 1, 1963, for which Option you should issue the City's chock in the sum of $1.00 in favor of Mr. Edwards. UJ WHEREAS. the City of Renton, a Municipal Corporation under the laws of the State of Washington, a City of the Second Class, had heretofore under date April 28, 1922, acquired Certain properties, including that certain of parcel hereinbelow described and P i of land commonly known as the City of Renton "Septic Tank Site", an area of app. one..half acre, more or less, and WHEREAS, said "Septic Tenk Site" has become obsolete and unusable and has not been of any public benefit or use for many years paatfand WHEREAS, said parcel of property is land..locked and cannot be used for any municipal or public purpose; and WHEREAS, an appraisal has heretofore been made of the value of the hereinbelow described property which appraisal is considered fair and equitable and a purchaser bei 4 bl4 ng available to pay unto the City the appraised price of said property. EDWARDS, his wife, hereinafter called the Sellers, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the Sellers hereby give and grant unto the CITY OF RENTON, a Municipal Corporation of the Second Class under the laws of the State of Washington, hereinafter called the Purchaser„its successors and assigns, the exclusive option to purchase for the further sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) hereinafter called the purchase price, on or before the first (1st) day of May, 1963, the real estate situate in King County, State of Washington, and particularly described as follows: A strip of land sixty (60) feet in width in Government Lots 13 and 16, Section 18, Township 23 North, Range 5 E.W.M., King County, Washington, the center line of which is described as follows: Beginning at the South quarter corner of said Section 18, running thence North 19°14'52„ West to the boundary of said , , Government Lot 13, FOR PURPOSES OF A PUBLIC ROAD AND OTHER MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
