PETITION FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS
We the undersigned owners of properties set opposite our
respective names, located in Renton Co-operative Coal Co. First
Addition to Renton and Morgans Grand View Addition to Renton and in
Highlands Addition to the Town of Renton, all in the City of Renton,
King County, Washington, respectfully peition your honorable body
to proceed with construction of a lateral Sewer System as contemplated
and initiated in proceedings had under Local Improvement District
#223 City of Renton,King County, Washington, and as provided for in
Chapter 85 Washington Session Laws of 1931. Wherein the costs and
assessments may exceed the assessed value of the real estate as
placed by the County Assessor for General Taxation; and we , being
the owners according to the records in the office of the King County
Auditor, of property in said proposed improvement district constituting
a majority of, and to an aggregate amount of more than 60% of the lineal
frontage upon the improvement to be made and being such owners of
three-fourths of the area within the limits of the proposed improvement
district, herebyetition for the improvement thereof ( by construction
of Sewers therein) of the nature and territorial extent herein below
set forth; the mode of payment for same to be by assessments levied
upon the properties within such Local Improvemtn District created, or
to be created for such purpose; that the property within such proposed
Improvement District may be assessed for the costs of such improvement
up to seventy five per cent (75%) higher in the aggregate than the
assessed valuation of the real estate, exclusive of improvements
thereon, within such District, according to the valuation last placed
upon the same for the purposes of general taxation. Being in respect
to certain lots therein, up to 375% higher than the assessed valuation
thereof.
The nature and territorial extent of the proposed improvement
herein petitioned for, and of the proposed Improvement District, are
as follows : Lateral Sanitary Sewers as described and shown on he
Maps for the East half of tracts 7-8-9-10-11-12-13 & 14 also 19-20-21-
22-23-24-25-41 & 42 Renton Co-operative Coal Company's Apre Tracts
an addition to the City of Renton, King County, Washington. All of
Block 2 Morgans Grand View Addition to Renton, King County, Washington
and all of Highland Addition to the Town of Renton, King County,
Washington all within the City Limits of said City of Renton, Washington,
