KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS , that THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, for

Q and in consideration of MUTUAL BENEFITS hereby conveys and quitclaims

CD unto THE CITY OF RENTON, a municipal corporation of the State of
Washington, all its right, title and interest, in and to the following
described real property situated in King County, State of Washington:
That portion of Government Lot 4 , Section 16 , Township 23
North, Range 5 East, W. M. , lying northerly and northeasterly
of the southerly and southwesterly right of way line of State
Highway Route 169 (formerly Primary State Highway No. 5) , as
said right of way was conveyed to King County by Deed recorded
July 28 , 1923 , under Auditor ' s file No. 1763942 , records of
said County, and lying southerly of the following described
line :
Beginning at a point opposite Highway Engineer ' s Station
1485+53 . 52 on the center line survey of State Highway Route
169 , Renton: Maplewood to Jct. SR 405 , and 56 . 63 feet south-
westerly therefrom; thence northwesterly in a straight line
to a point opposite Highway Engineer' s Station 1494+21 .74 on
said center line survey and 57 . 85 feet southwesterly therefrom
and the end of this line description.
Reserving unto the State of Washington an easement for drainage
purposes over , under , across and upon a strip of land 60 feet
in width, being 30 feet in width on each side, when measured at
right angles, from a line bearing South 76° 25 ' West from High-
way Engineer ' s Station 1489+15 . 00 P.O.T. equals Dl 0+00 . 00 on
said center line survey.
The specific details concerning all of which are to be found within
that certain map of definite location now of record and on file in the
Office of the Director of Highways at Olympia , Washington, bearing date
of approval February 18 , 1971 , revised July 28 , 1972 and recorded in
Volume 5 of Highway Plats , page 108 , under Auditor ' s file Number
7203060409 , records of said County.
The lands herein described are not required for State highway
purposes and are conveyed pursuant to the provisions of RCW 47 .12 . 070.
