• QUIT CLAIM DEED
THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH: That we, Albert S. Balch and Edith A. Balch,
his wife , of King County, State of Washington, for and
in consideration of the sum of One (1.00) Dollar to us in hand paid and in further
Q consideration of the general public welfare and the special benefits accuring to us
therefrom, do, by these presents grant, convey and quit-claim to the City of Renton,
a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, for street, alley and any other
public uses and purposes, the following lots, pieces and parcels of land lying and
( being in said King County, State of Washington, and described as follows:
Lf) 3rd AVENUE NO%STH EXT.NSION
That portion of the east 100 feet of the west one-half of the northeast one-
, quarter of Section 17, Township 23 North, -tiange 5 East, W. M. lying southerly
of a line 60 feet northerly of and parallel lith the following described
center-line:

Beginning at station 17 + 50.40 on the "K" line of Primary State Highway No.2
(Jct. P.S.H. No. 5 to May Creek); thence easterly along the arc of a curve
to the left, radius 818.60 feet a distance of 464.80 feet; thence south
73°47'00" east 168.05 feet; thence continuing easterly along the arc of a
curve to the left, radius 763.94 feet, to the east line of the west one-half
of the northeast one-quarter of said Section 17, less any portion thereof
already deeded for streets.
Also, a portion of the northeast one-quarter of the northeast one-quarter
of Section 17, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W. M. lying southerly of
Snoqualmie Falls Power Company 50 foot transmission line right-of-way and
northerly of Mount Olivet Cemetary Road; said portion being 60 feet wide,
30 feet on either side of the following described center-line:
Beginning at a point on the center-line of Mount Olivet Cemetary Road in
the northeast one-Quarter of the northeast one-quarter of said Section 17;
said point being the point of curve to the right, radius 33.70 feet; thence
easterly along the arc of said curve to the right, radius 33.70 feet, 43.23
feet to the true point of beginning; thence north 25°58' west to the southerly
margin of said 50 foot transmission line right-of-way and the end of said
center-line, less any portion thereof already deeded to the City of Renton.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said described premises unto the said City of r-enton,
its successor or successors for the use of the public forever.
