TREASURER'S DEED

COUNTY OF KING )
THIS INDENTURE, Made this 5th day of April
1963, between A. A. TREMPER as Treasurer of King County, State of
Washington, the party of the first part, and the CITY OF RENTON,
a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, party of the
second part .
WITNESSETH, That whereas, King County, Washington, did,
by King County Resolution No. 11386, set aside certain real property
for a public park and beach and designated it as King County Park
No. 4+1, said real property being conveyed to King County by the
Kennydale Community Club for public beach and park purposes only; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that said real estate
is no longer necessary or desirable as a public park for King County
and that said park is surplus to King County' s needs; and
WHEREAS, the Kennydale Community Club has conveyed its
interest in said real property to the City of Renton for public
beach and park purposes; and,
WHEREAS, said real estate is totally within the corporate
limits of the City of Renton; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Renton desires to acquire the interest
of King County in said real property so as to continue to maintain
the same as a public park and beach; and,
WHEREAS, under the laws of the State of Washington, the
disposition of said real property may be made to another governmental
agency; and,

�1 WHEREAS, the Board of King County Commissioners has, by

A., King County Resolution No. 25252, authorized the transfer of the
following-described real property to the City of Renton, a municipal
corporation of the State of Washington, to-wit :
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, Block A,
Hillmants Lake Washington Garden of Eden
Addition to the City of Seattle No. 1, located
in King County;
NOW, THEREFORE, know ye that I, A. A. TREMPER, County
Treasurer of said County of King, State of Washington, in considera-
tion of the premises and by virtue of the statutes of the State of
Washington, in such cases made and provided, do hereby quit claim
by and on and behalf of King County, State of Washington, to the
City of Renton, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington,
its heirs and assigns, forever, the said real estate hereinbefore
described, as fully and completely as the said party of the first
part can by virtue of the premises convey the same.

conveys and quit claims to Kira; County
the following described real estate, situated in the County of King
state of 'Washington:

GARDEN OF EDEN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SEATTLE NO. 1
This deed is made with the express condition that the premisee hereby
conveyed shall be used by the Grantee, its sucessors or assigns for Public
Beach and Park purposes. In the event the premises cease to be used for the
purposes designated above, then the title thereto shall revert to the Grantor,
his heirs or assigns.

executed by its proper officers and its corporate seal to be hereunto affixed

On this 2nd day of June, 19)49, before me, the undersigned, a Notary Public
in and for the State of Washington, duly commissioned and sworn, personally
appeared Wm. P. Nute and Thorun Pobel to me known to be the President and the
Secretary, respectively, of the Kennydale Community Club, the corporation that
executed the foregoing instrument and acknowledged the said instrument to be
the free and voluntary act and deed of said corporation, for the uses and purposes
therein mentioned, and on oath stated that they authorized to execute the said
instrument and that the seal affixed is the copporate seal of said corporation.

RESOLUTION NO. 11356
,WHiMLEAS, under the provisions of Chapter 9!., Session Laws of 1949, State
of Washington, counties are empowered and authorized to acquire and dedicate
property to be used for recreational sites for public use and enjoyment, and
•
WHEREAS, the Kennydale Community Club, a Washington Corporation, has
deeded to King County .property described as Lots 2,3,4.,5,6,7,8,9, and 10,
Block A, Hillman's Lake Washington Garden of
Eden Addition to the City
of
Seattle No. 1 for public beach and park purposes, and
WE REAS, the Superintendent of King County Parks has recommended that the
property deeded to King County by the Kennydale Community Club be accepted and
set aside for park purposes, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, King County,
Washington, that the quit-claim deed of Kennydale Community Club, conveying to
King County the following described property, to-wit:
Lots 2,3,4,5,6,7,5,9, and 10, Block A,
Hillman's Lake Washington Garden of Eden
Addition to the City of Seattle No. 1
be and the same is hereby accepted, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT -said property be and the same is hereby set
aside and dedicated as a public park for public use and enjoyment and shall be
known and designated as King County Park No. 41.
