Seattle, WA 98101 Re: City of Renton/Greenwood Cemetery Dear Tony: I am still holding in my file a Quit Claim Deed from Daniel E. Holms, Inc. to the City of Renton for the West 12 feet of the North 300 feet of the West 200 feet of Tract A, Greenwood Cemetery recorded in Volume 22 of Plats , Page 35 , records of King County, Washington. As you will recall, that Quit Claim Deed was signed by Daniel E . Holms and Ruth Wyllie. However, the signatures were notarized by Ruth Wyllie in effect, having Ruth Wyllie notarizing her own signature. The City still needs an appropriately signed and notarized Quit Claim Deed. I wish to raise this issue before the funeral parlor being built by Mr. Holms is completed as there will be no certificate of occupancy issued until this step has been completed. I also wrote to you sometime ago about an early trial date in this case. I would also like to discuss with you limiting the issues at trial as it seems like the issues continue to expand rather than contract. Perhaps we could narrow the issues somewhat by reviewing State case authority. Let me know your thoughts. Very truly yours, Lawrence J.
