Motor, City Clerk FROM: Lawrence J. Warren, City Attorney Dear Maxine: $ ( /0 08 /4 73 Please find enclosed the original of the Quit Claim Deed from Valley Office and Industrial Park, Inc. (Austin Company) to the City of Renton for a portion of the alignment of the P-1 Channel. A deed for the Oakesdale dedication has likewise been filed of record but will not be delivered to the City of Renton until a fill permit is granted to the parcel of property known as the Southeast 11 acres. There is no assurance that the fill permit to the Southeast 11 acres will be granted as that matter is yet to be presented to the Hearing Examiner. However, the negotiation for the Oakesdale dedication was part of the environmental mitigation for that filling. That filling would further require the Austin Company to provide compensating flood storage capacity within the alignment of the P-1 Channel. Rather than providing that capacity through further dedication it is anticipated that the Austin Company would continue its excavation of the alignment of the P-1 Channel. Lawrence J.
