RE: Letter of Understanding Geologic Risk
Canopy Preliminary Plat and Preliminary Planned Unit Development
Dear Matthew:
Blue Fern Development, as the applicant for the Canopy Preliminary Plat, commissioned
Terra Associates, Incorporated to perform a Geotechnical Engineering Feasibility Report.
They performed their review of the site and provided a report dated March 19, 2019. Their
report found no evidence to suggest that the site is unstable. However, should unstable
conditions be discovered on the site during the development process, we understand and
accept the risk of developing in unstable areas. Furthermore, we will advise, in writing,
any prospective purchasers of the site, or any prospective purchasers of structures or
portions of structures on the site, of any unstable potential on the site.
