AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR UTILITY SYSTEMS
LASERFICHE SCANNING PROJECT
THIS AMENDMENT,dated October 31,2019,is by and between the City of Renton(the"City"),a
Washington municipal corporation, and Cities Digital, Inc. ("Consultant"), a Wisconsin
corporation.The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the
"Parties." Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date
signed by both parties.
Whereas,the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-19-212, dated
July 22, 2019, to provide necessary services for the Utility Systems Laserfiche Scanning Project
(referred to herein as the"Agreement");
Whereas,the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work and change the
compensation in order to add storage services for record drawings.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-19-212 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work:Section 1,Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified below:
A. The Consultant shall be responsible for removing the record drawings from
the existing steel cabinets located at the City's Maintenance Shops and zip
tying the drawings so they stay in order and flat for transporting and storage.
The Consultant will place the record drawings in a box that is labeled with the
contents.The boxed record drawings will be transported by the Consultant to
their office for storage in a secure, climate-controlled room. The Consultant
will provide boxes that will protect the record drawings from water damage
and dust.
B. The boxes will be accessible during the duration of the storage by the
Consultant.The City may request specific record drawings and the Consultant
will make them available within two business days of receipt of the request.
C. The Consultant will provide storage of the record drawings for up to twelve
months from the date the records drawings are picked up from the City's
Maintenance Shops.
2. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $7,224.80 from $45,000 to
$52,224.80 including any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional
compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s)
or amounts specified in Exhibit C-1 of the Agreement.
3. Ail terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Agreement as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
