HomeMy WebLinkAboutRS_RentonPrepTrafficProjection_191101_v1.pdfRenton Preparatory Christian School Mill Street Property Traffic Projection Renton Prep anticipates increasing its present student population from 160 students to 200 students Doors open at 7:00am for before school care, school begins at 8:30am, school day ends at 3:45pm and after school care closes at 6:00pm. From the past 5 years on-site with drop-off and pick-up we expect between 50-60 vehicles entering the property from both entrance locations (library and side entrance from Houser. Except for teachers, vehicles remain on the property no longer than 3-8 minutes and then leave. We have 35 allocated parking spaces, of which we use less than 15 for staff. A major tenant, KCSARC, is vacating the building in December 2019, with 50 plus employees plus hundreds of clients, all of whom will no longer be driving on-site. The traffic flow will not be negatively impacted with so few vehicles. Generally it takes less than 13 minutes for over 50 cars to enter the 200 Mill Ave S site and exit the campus in an orderly fashion in the neighborhood using our present circular entrance and exit process.
