RESOLUTION NO. //1/6-- '
WHEREAS the City of Renton has heretofore adopted a Comprehensive Six Year
StreetProgram pursuant to Chapter 195 of the 1961 Session Laws, which Program has
heretofore been amended from time to time, after public hearing thereon, and
WHEREAS the City, by and through its City Engineer and Traffic Engineer
have heretofore proposed certain revisions, modifications and amendment to said Six
Year Comprehensive Program, and keeping in mind the provisions of Chapter 83 of the
Extraordinary Session Laws of 1967, particular reference being made to R.C.W. 36.81.121,
and
WHEREAS a public hearing has been held on said proposed revisions, modifications,
and amendmentg pursuant to public notice published and posted as required by law, and
such hearing having been held on June 26, 1967 in the Council Chambers of the City of
Renton, at 8:00 P.M., and all parties having been heard in support thereof or in
opposition thereto at said public hearing; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The aforesaid recitals and findings are hereby found to be true
and correct in all respects. The City's Comprehensive Street Program for the ensuing
six years, as annually reviewed and modified, is hereby adopted, and acopy thereof
labeled "Exhibit A" is incorporated herein, and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
Said six year Comprehensive Street Program, as so amended, shall be and constitute the
City's Comprehensive Program until reviewed annually thereafter.
SECTION II: A copy of said Comprehensive Street Program, as amended and
reviewed, shall be filed with the Director of Highways not more than 30 days after
adoption of this Resolution, together with a certified copy hereof.
