WHEREAS the City of Renton has heretofore adopted a Comprehensive Six Year
Street Program pursuant to Chapter 195 of the 1961 Session Laws, which Program has
heretofore been amended from time to time, after public hearing thereon, and
WHEREAS the City, by and through its City Engineer and Traffic Engineer
have heretofore proposed certain revisions, modifications and amendment to said Six
Year Comprehensive Program, and keeping in mind the provisions of Chapter 83 of the
Extraordinary Session Laws of 1967, particular reference being made to RCT 35.77.010,
and
WHEREAS a public hearing has been held on said proposed revisions, modifier:-
tions, and amendments pursuant to public notice published and posted as required by
law, and such hearing having been held on July 15 , 1968, in the Council Chambers 'of
the City of Renton, at 8:00 P.M„ and all parties having been heard in support thereof
or in opposition thereto at said public hearing; NOP1 THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS t
SECTION I: The aforesaid recitals and findings are hereby found to be true
and correct in all respects. The City's Comprehensive Street Program for the ensuing
six years, as annually reviewed and modified, is hereby adopted, and a copy thereof
labeled "Exhibit A" is incorporated herein, and made a part hereof as if fully eet
Said six year Comprehensive Street Program, as so amended, shall be and constitute.
City's Comprehensive Program until reviewed annually thereafter.
SECTION II: .A copy of said Comprehensive Street Program, as amended and
reviewed, shall be filed with 'the Director of Highways not more than 30 days after
adoption of this Resolution, together with a certified copy hereof;:..

The transmittal October 28, 1968 to the King County Flood-Control Division and
the map attached thereto is cited as reference for the storm sewer trunk proposals. These
items have been submitted to Forward Thrust and would encompass a time period of 1968 to
1978. Depending upon availability of funds only, portions of each'-project may be
accomplished at a time and priority of these portions, or stages, as yet have to be
established.
Sanitary Trunk System 1969 to 1975
REFERENCE: The following locations relative to trunks on the-sanitary sewer system will
have to be measured to determine the length of the projects, cost estimated as to the total
cost of the project, and a priority established as to the timing of the projects.
Physical locations of the anticipated sewer trunks will be shown on the Comprehensivi
Sanitary Sewer plan now being prepared.

It is anticipated additional Sanitary Sewer L:I.D.s will be forthcoming but due
to the size and location are not immediately indentifiable at this-time.
It is contemplated that by 1971 the Lake Washington Beach area from the North
Renton City limits to approximately S.E. 96th St. will also' be -sewered. As this area
includes both industrial and residential property, it will be-necessary to study this
further and carefully to determine the best manner to handle-this-area.
Due to the number and type of Contractors' Developments-that-are-pending it would
be difficult to list them completely. However, we currently know-that Tiffany Park #2,
Royal Hills, and Transamerica Development Company have projects in planning or under
construction.
Also, 153rd Street trunk is being contemplated by the Austin- Company. Further
development in the Earlington Industrial Plat is being contemplated and designed for
contractors ' developments or extensions.
