RESOLUTION NO. /1 (�
WHEREAS Chapter 195 of the 1961 Sdssion Laws of. the State of Washington require
the legislative body of each City andTown to prepare and adopt a comprehensive street
program for the ensuing six years, and
WHEREAS the City of Renton has duly prepared such a comprehensive plan which
has heretofore been duly approved by the planning Commission of the City of Renton and
a public hearing having been held thereon on December 12, 1961, notice therefore having
been duly published and pasted as provided by law, and
WHEREAS there were no written or oral objections to the comprehensive street
program as prepared by the City Engineer; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section I: The comprehensive street, program forothe:•ensuing six years, as
evidenced by the Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth herein, be and the same is hereby adopted and ratified in all respects and said
program is hereby adopted as the City's comprehensive street program.
Section II: The City Clerk and the City Engineer are hereby authorized and
directed to file said comprehensive plan with the Director of Highways prior to January 1,
1962, together with a copy of this Resolution.

WHEREAS
EREAS Chapter 7, Extraordinary Session Laws of 1961 of the State of
Washington provides for the allocation of certain funds for the construction,
improvement and repair of arterial streets and
WHEREAS the CITY OF RENTON has duly passed a comprehensive plan, duly
approved by the Planning Commission of the CITY OF RENTON and a public hearing
having been held thereon on December 12, 1961, after notice and publication thereof
as provided by law and
WHEREAS no written or oral objections have been filed to said plan:
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The CITY OF RENTON'S comprehensive plan for the construction,
improvement and repair of arterial highways as evidenced by Exhibit A attached hereto
and made a part hereof as if fully set fo th herein be and the same is hereby
adopted and ratified in all respects.

WHEREAS Chapter 195 of the 1961 Session Laws of the State of Washington requires
the City of Renton to prepare and adopt a comprehensive street program for the ensuing
six years, and
WHEREAS the City of Renton has heretofore duly; prepared such a comprehensive

WHEREAS it has become necessary to amend and modify said six year comprehensive
street plan in certain respects and a public hearing having been held relative to
saidrogram as modJfied and amended after

by law and a public hearing having been held thereon on January 28, 1963, and
WHEREAS there were no written or oral objections to the amendments or modifica—
tions of the comprehensive street program as heretofore adopted; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The comprehensive street program for the ensuing six years as
amended and modified as per "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as
though fully set forth herein be and the same is hereby adopted'and ratified in all
respects and said program as amended and modified is hereby adopted as the City's
comprehensive street program.
SECTION II: The City Clerk and the City Engineer are hereby authorized and
directed to file said street program as amended and modified with the Director of
Highways for the State of Washington, together with a certified copy of this
Resolution.

WHEREAS Chapter 195 of the 1961 Session Laws of the State of Washington re-
quires the CITY OF RENTON to prepare and adopt a comprehensive street program for
the ensuing six years, and
WHEREAS Chapter 7, Extraordinary Session Laws of 1961 of the State of
Washington provides means for the construction, improvement and repair of arterial
streets, and
WHEREAS the CITY OF RENTON has heretofore duly prepared such a comprehensive
street plan duly approved by its Planning Commission and its City Council , after
iublic hearing thereon, on December 12, 1961 , which comprehensive street plan has
heretofore been duly amended under date of January 2£?, 1963, and
WHEREAS the CITY has also heretofore adopted its comprehensive plan for
the construction, improvement and repair of arterial highways, after a public hearing
thereon, and
WHEREAS it has become necessary and advisable to amend and modify said
S_x-Year Comprehensive Street Plan and Arterial Street Plan and a public hearing
having been held relative to said amendment, after public notice thereof had been
given as provided by law, and a public hearing having been held thereon on October 28,
1963, and
WHEREAS there were no written or oral objections to the amendments or modi-
fications of said comprehensive plans as heretofore adopted; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The comprehensive street program for the ensuing six years, as
amended, and the CITY OF RENTON'S arterial street program, as heretofore adopted, be
and the same are hereby amended and modified as set forth in the attached Exhibit
labelled "Exhibit A" which is incorporated herein and made a part hereof as if fully
set forth. Said amendment consists primarily of the establishment and addition of
a new roadway and arterial street known as "Puget Drive".
SECTION II: The City Clerk and the City Engineer are hereby authorized and
d'rected to file said amendment with the Director of Highways for the State of Washington,
t^gether with a certified copy of this Resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 1357
WHEREAS the City of Renton has heretofore adopted a Comprehensive Street Progaam
for the then ensuing six years pursuant to Chapter 195 of the 1961 Session Laws which
program has heretofore been amended from time to time and
WHEREAS the aforesaid statute requires the City bi-annually thereafter to
review the work accomplished under said six year program and to determine current City
needs and adopt any revision or extension of such Comprehensive Street Program, and
WHEREAS the City Engineer has heretofore prepared and submitted to the City
Council for its due consideration such amendments, revisions and modifications and
WHEREAS a public hearing having been held thereon on or about December 20,
1965, after due notice as required by law, and the Planning Commission having likewise
approved such revisions and additions to said six year plan, and
WHEREAS no written or oral objections to the amendments or modifications of
said Comprehensive Plan having been made at said public hearing; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND. THE CITY- COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: The aforesaid recitals and factsare hereby found to be true and
correct in all respects. The City's Comprehensive Street Program for the enusing six
years is, as amended, including the City's arterial street program, as heretofore adopted,
be and the same are hereby amended and modified as setforth in the attached Exhibit,
labeled Exhibit "A" which is incorporated herein and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth. All of said amendments, revisions and modifications on the attached Plan are
properly marked by an asterisk to evidence such changes.
Section 2: The City Clerk..and the City Engineer -are hereby authorized and
directed to file said bi-annual amendment and revision with the Director of Highways for
the State of Washington, together with a certified copy of this .Resolution, including
ExUbit "AY thereof.
