HomeMy WebLinkAboutLachlan Public Comment.msgHi Alex, I did notice this request coming through and had hoped that the new owners would stop the tower being there. I was told that they had a contract and couldn't remove it. Now it seems that contract is up and they are playing the game again. Is anyone in touch with the organization Citc? What role do they play in allowing or not allowing this? How long can Verizon have to use the other properties they wanted to out permanent structures on? It's rather ridiculous that we as a city and a neighborhood have no say in what happens in our neighborhood. I will have neighbors contact you also. Thanks for your help Lachlan On Mon, Dec 16, 2019, 9:23 AM Alex Morganroth <AMorganroth@rentonwa.gov> wrote: Hi Lachlan, I’m responding to your email to the City Clerk’s office with regard to the new Verizon COW application (LUA19-000314). They are seeking to allow the COW to be on the site for another 18 months. I can assure you that we are also frustrated that they have not gotten their permanent sites online and need to continue to rely on this temporary solution (which is proving not to be so temporary). That being said, they are legally allowed to submit this application and we will evaluate it in a similar manner as the last two applications. If you or any of you neighbors have concerns, I’d highly recommend submitting comments to me as soon as possible. These comments may be made via email, telephone, or mail.
