Cut Slopes While onsite, rep observed south slopes of the cut slopes to be near vertical and covered in plastic sheeting. Rep observed that the east slopes of the excavation were near a 0.75:1 (H:V) slope. Although over -steepened, slopes are stable in current configuration and stable to work within. The contractor is responsible for providing all safety measures in accordance with state and federal regulation Rep observed that contractor had sloped the southeast corner of the footing excavation to a 1:1 (H:V). Sewer Discharge Rep used IMHOFF cone to test baker tank sewer water discharge. Rep used IMHOFF cone and found sediment (<3 ml) after testing water for one hour. Rep took PH test and found water suitable for discharge at a pH level of 6.5. Storm Line Backfill Rep observed contractor use a medium sized excavator to excavate oversaturated material north of the main entrance to the site. Rep will return tomorrow, February 4, 2020, to observe and test the compaction of the new backfill when needed. ESNW rep will return to observe earthwork activities when requested by client 4J3 _ Andrew Kimn, Senior Technician, 206-430-9183 Earth Solutions NWLLc 15365 NE 90" Street, Suite 100 t Redmond, WA 98052 Main (425) 449-4704 1 Fax (425) 449-4711 www.esnw.com DAILY FIELD REPORT Project Name Weatherly Inn Contractor #1 Rino Construction Contractor #2 ESNW Rep.
