This request is made due to the additional time needed to determine the structural viability of the building before moving forward with a building permit. Due to the additional time required to perform the required analyses to determine structural viability, the original permit period was insufficient to accommodate our anticipated build timeline. Our expected timeline moving forward is to have the site completed by 2021. We anticipate to have a building permit submitted by Late summer/early fall of 2020. With construction occurring in 2021. Therefore, we would request a two (2) year extension of the permit, as permitted by RMC 4-9-030(9), to allow for building permit timelines and construction. The two year extension is sought to accommodate any potential delay in the build plan highlighted above. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns, or need any additional information.
