Division of the City of Renton. The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals.

PERMITS/REVIEW REQUESTED: Temporary Use - Tier II
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting a Tier 2 Temporary Use Permit pursuant to Renton
Municipal Code Section 4-9-240 to install two (2) temporary signs on the 5.07-acre surface parking lot located at the
southeast corner of Park Ave N and N 8th St (APN 0886610070). The single-sided signs include a white background with
the SECO company logo and text that reads “SECO Development, Inc.” The signs would be printed on reflective material
and mounted to 1/8” di-bond on 4x4 wooden posts. The dimensions of each sign face would be 48” wide by 24” tall (8
square feet) and the overall height of the proposed temporary signs would be six feet (6’) tall. One sign would face Park
Ave N and the second sign would face N 8th St. The parcel contains high seismic hazards and is zoned Urban Center (UC)
and is located in the Urban Design District C overlay area. The southern portion of the property is located within the
Downtown Wellhead Protection Area Zone 2.
