PROJECT NAME: Southport Entry Road Bridge Over Johns Creek Noise Variance
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: SECO Development is requesting a noise variance to allow continuous work over
a 3 day road closure Thursday evening to Sunday evening at the Southport John’s Creek Bridge. Time of construction
would be from 10 pm on Thursday through 11:59 pm Sunday, September 8-11, 2016. The proposed project includes
widening of the access road which will improve traffic flow entering and exiting the site and to accommodate
anticipated traffic flow for the future expansion of the Southport Mixed Use Development. During the proposed short
duration closure, the general contractor would be able to excavate, install, backfill and temporarily surface the proposed
culvert. Twenty-four hour traffic control management will be provided to assist individuals entering or exiting the
Southport Development.

PUBLIC HEARING: Public hearing is scheduled for July 26, 2016 before the Renton Hearing
Examiner in Renton Council Chambers at 11:00 a.m. on the 7th floor of Renton
City Hall located at 1055 South Grady Way.
Comments on the above application must be submitted in writing to Vicki Grover, Project Manager, CED-Planning
Division, 1055 South Grady Way, 6th flr, Renton, WA 98057, by 5:00 p.m. on July 22, 2016. If you have questions about
this proposal, or wish to be made a party of record and receive additional notification by mail, contact the Project
Manager. Anyone who submits written comments will automatically become a party of record and will be notified of
any decision on this project.
