A Master Application has been filed and accepted with the Development Services Division of the City of Renton.
The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals.
PROJECT NAME/NUMBER: Linn Office Conversion - Landscape Variance / LUA06-108, V-H
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is converting an existing single family home on a 4,838 sf lot in the
Commercial Arterial (CA) zone to an office use The applicant is requesting a Hearing Examiner variance to eliminate the
requirement for a 15 ft. landscape strip along the south property line, which is required to buffer the commercial use from
the residentially zoned and used property to the south Due to the limited width of the lot, it is not possible to provide the
required parking and driveway, and also the landscaping.

Comments on the above application must be submitted in writing to Valerie Kinast, Associate Planner,
Development Services Division, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98055, by 5.00 PM on September 15, 2006.
This matter is also tentatively scheduled for a public hearing on October 10, 2006, at 9:00 AM, Council Chambers,
Seventh Floor, Renton City Hall, 1055 South Grady Way. Renton. If you are interested in attending the hearing, please
contact the Development Services Division to ensure that the hearing has not been rescheduled at (425) 430-7282. If
comments cannot be submitted in writing by the date indicated above, you may still appear at the hearing and present
your comments on the proposal before the Hearing Examiner. If you have questions about this proposal, or wish to be
made a party of record and receive additional notification by mail, contact the Project Manager at (425) 430-7270.
Anyone who submits written comments will automatically become a party of record and will be notified of any decision on
this project.
