A virtual/telephonic public hearing will be held by the Renton Hearing Examiner on May 19, 2020 at 11:00 am by
means of the Zoom video conferencing web application to consider the following petition:
I-405 Renton to Bellevue-Project-Wide Borings
LUA20-000058, V-H
Location: Along Interstate 405 from Mile Post 3.20 to Mile Post 7.10 (approx. Benson Rd S to NE 44th St)
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is requesting a variance from the City of Renton
Noise Ordinance, for 65 non consecutive nights of construction work between April 20, 2020 to September
30, 2020. The items of work to be performed include but are not limited to construction equipment
performing site preparation and drilling work tasks at different locations east and west of I-405. WSDOT has
determined that crews will perform project work at night in order to minimize daytime traffic congestion
along the I-405 corridor and provide maximum safety for workers and the traveling public.

persons and the public are encouraged to attend the meeting by using one of the methods listed below. Should
you have any questions or would like to submit written comments please contact City Clerk at
cityclerk@rentonwa.gov. Please attend the meeting by using one of the three methods below.
