Crews are on-site preparing to remove pavement at Sta. 36+85-49+38R +/-AGS has placed T/C diverting

COR crews were on--site to perform pavement restorations where the water had been installed. I directed them
o stop work as the contract states that Icon is responsible for exc. and repairs for work associated with the tie-
in. Pavement grinding continues; I have spoken to Bill about the intersection at 9th and he stated that they plan
o remove pavement from all the lanes up to ninth before crossing the intersection. When the intersection is
8:30am . removed they will have to stop traffic and redirect them until the area is made.passable__

10:30am.. Mulier is beciinning the_third pass which will complete the.first.lane to.9th.
have verified the excavation depth of the pavement removal;.at this time I find the-depth to be 10" and the
contract call for a 1' min.The subgrade appears to have a high level of organics. I have spoken with Bill and he
tated that the plant will only accept asphalt and crushed rock so they intend to perform the final grading outside

I have inspected the subgrade and found the material to contain a high amount of fines. I spoke with Ken and it
12:00pm was agreed that as long as the material was solid we could allow it to be used as is. Icon is finalizing the grade.
Pavement removal continues. I have discussed the requirements for the edge along the removals; a 4x1 wedge

Icon is placing crushed surfacing along the edge of the excavation. Planing has finished for the day. I have
