Project Summary: The applicant, Walmart Stores, Inc, is proposing to Administrative Site Plan Review and

area for their online grocery pickup service (OGP). The existing 150,158 sq. ft. building
is located on a 12.2 acre site at 743 Rainier Ave S (APN 1923059048). The subject parcel
is located in the Commercial Arterial (CA) zone and the proposed addition and parking
area would be located on the north side of the building. The proposal also includes the
addition of four new uncovered stalls and six new covered stalls to be utilized by online
grocery pick up customers. As a whole, the proposed project would result in a net loss
of 15 parking stalls due to the building addition. New directional signage is also
proposed within the existing parking lot in order to guide customers to the pickup
location. Multiple landscape islands are proposed for removal in order to construct a
new drive aisle and is estimated to result in the loss of five (5) trees. The applicant
