Our insurance program for general liability, auto liability, and workers compensation insurance has substantial limits in place. The self-insured retention, which is currently $2,000,000 per occurrence, may fluctuate from year to year; however it is always consistent with our net worth and cash flows. Evidence of PSE’s capacity to pay claims may be found in its 10K and 10Q filings which the City can access at any time via http://www.pugetenergy.com/pages/filings.html. Excess insurance protection is purchased, which is in accordance with other corporations our size and substantially exceeds the insurance requirements outlined by the City. Puget Sound Energy hereby commits its self-insurance program to City of Renton to guarantee compliance with the indemnity commitments and obligations set forth in the referenced project permit. Sincerely, Julie Milbrandt Insurance Risk Program Manager Puget Sound Energy Cc: Jeff McMeekin, PSE Project Manager III
