The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals. See also https://cutt.ly/Jd0j9We PERMITS/REVIEW REQUESTED: Temporary Use Permit Review PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting approval of a Tier 2 Temporary Use Permit in order to allow the operation of an accessory off-site service in the CA zone and Urban Design District D. The 8,000 sq. ft. site is located at 125 Airport Way (APN 7229300055). The building is one story and approximately 3,100 sq. ft. in size. The primary uses proposed by the applicant, on-site small appliance repair and parts sales, are permitted in the zone. The proposed accessory off-site service would involve technicians traveling to the customer's home or business to repair various appliances. A total of six technicians, each with their own vehicle, would be dispatched to customers via five clerical staff that work out of the building on the site. One spare service van would be parked at the lot at all times, but all other vehicles associated with the business would only be located on site during business hours. Business hours of operation are anticipated to be 7:30am to 4pm. No exterior changes to the building are proposed, except for signage. Approximately 9 parking spaces are available on the site. No storage of parts or materials would occur outside of the building on the site. A High Seismic Hazard is located on the site. No trees or vegetation are proposed for removal.
